Special manpower has been developed in financial digital transformation
Four seminars were held on the second day of the Bangladesh Digital Mela 2023. AMTOB, the organization of mobile operators, held a mobile congress for the first time today with these four seminars.
A seminar titled 'Digital transformation is the driving force of the future economy in Bangladesh' was held at Windy Town Hall in the fair grounds on Friday afternoon, a holiday. State Minister for Planning Dr. Shamsul Alam was present as the chief guest.
He said, since 2011, Mobile Financial Service (MFS) has brought revolutionary changes in Bangladesh. Digital transformation of financial operations has created a unique workforce.
In his speech, the Planning Minister called upon everyone to work to filter obscene content.
In the speech of the special guest, Professor Enamul Haque, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics of the private university East West University urged the government to formulate perfect policies to create new startups and retain the existing startups.
Mamun Rashid, who was the keynote speaker in the seminar, emphasized the importance of adapting to the changes in technology. According to him, IoT and cloud servers are a huge milestone after the pandemic and Facebook Commerce is playing a revolutionary role in the economy.
Banglalink Digital Communication CEO Erik Aas said, Bangladesh is about to enter the 5G era. The integration and solution of personal life with Internet services at all levels will be the major achievement of 5G. He also mentioned that the quality of life of people has improved due to the use of MFS and other information technologies.
Mohammad Refayet Ullah Mridha, president of Economic Reports Forum, was present as moderator in the program and AKM Habibur Rahman, Managing Director of Teletalk Bangladesh Limited, Md Mokarrabeen Mannan, Chief Digital Officer of UCB's fintech company, Aminul Haque, Executive Director of Nagad was present as a discussant.
